Video for Music Tool is an app to aid in the writing or performing of music synchronized to picture. It plays back video and audio synchronized with on-screen elements to visually aid in aligning music and picture.
VfMT generates all of the traditional film-music visual cues, such as timecode overlays, streamers, and punches. It can also generate text, count-down sweepers (useful for indicating points of interest over a longer period of time, such as the first piece of music after a long gap) and provides a clear and concise system of tempo, time signature and beat displays for keeping track of metric changes in a piece of music.

Import MIDI files to auto-create a set of streamers & punches based on the tempo changes, meter changes and markers present in the file. (some feature-sets only)
Sync playback to MIDI timecode (can be output by any leading DAW)
Click track generation (including volume adjustment for primary and secondary beats)
Audio routing and basic mixing capabilities (for reference dialogue tracks etc)
Comprehensive export options for when your project is finished (some feature-sets only)
Customizable presets to import MIDI files to your specifications.
Video for Music Tool is built on standard macOS frameworks and UI components for long-term reliability and stability. It is designed to be simple and intuitive to use even while managing the complexity of large projects and allowing for adjustments of the smallest details.

There are two subscription options offered:
Basic features: $40/6-months, mainly intended for use as a video playback app with occasional marker creation
All Features: $60/6-months, for managing the most complex and involved wall-to-wall film scores and live performances
